Parking in our area is confusing to say the least. Here’s a breakdown that might make things easier:
When You Can Park
Monday: 7-10pm
Tuesday: 7-10pm
Wednesday: 7-10pm
Thursday: 7-10pm
Friday: 7-10pm
Saturday: 6am-10pm
Sunday: 6am-10pm
During these times, parking is free.
Parking rules are more flexible on 40th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues (Bryant Park South).
I believe there are similar parking rules on 38th Street, but have to confirm.
Read the signs carefully when trying to park around here– you can find free spaces, but will have to be careful to find the right block with the right rules!
