Jackie for Isuru
Published by isuru May 12th, 2006 in General.Isuru will be traveling around the world in May. He has always wanted to go to India, and is glad that he could go, even if it is for work. He will visit some coal mines and steel plants to see the operations (Raipur). Most of the time in New Delhi and Kolkata will be spent meeting management of companies that his company might invest in. (1 week)
In Australia (Victoria and Perth) he will do site visits to gold mines and a lead mine. (1 week)
Along the way he will see many friends he has from life, and is excited to see them again. (1 week)
He will be home in Sri Lanka for a week, attending his grandmother’s 3-mo commemoration dana (wake). (1 week)
Jackie Tran, a friend of Amit, will be taking Isuru’s place at H20, and she will be doing amazing things there.
This might be a little late, but have a safe trip. Sounds like such an awesome adventure, traveling the world looking at natural resources/commodities. I day dream about traveling around the world, then I blink and I’m back at my keyboard in middle of a line of code :\
ISURU,
AM I WRITING TO THE GUY WORKED IN PERADENIYA UNIVERSITY IN 1999/2000? IF SO PLEASE REPLY
Sampath! Konda!
Ado, Thilina and I were wondering what happened to you just last week. Write to me at yahoo mail - i’m ‘emcron.’
Nuzz!
Thanks for the wishes. Travel for work was great fun for a while (Delhi, Raipur), tiring (Kolkata), and then stressful (Melbourne and Perth). Being home was beautiful, as expected.
omg, i cant believe someone went to raipur. i spent 10 of my best years there. my 80 yr old granpa lives there
pics please?
hello Ira,
I was in Raipur for about 24 hours, and most of it was spent working. I wanted to go out to see some of the countryside, but I fell asleep since I was exhausted after crazy times in Delhi.
I started posting pix of India here.
