House 2.0

CLEANING
- we’ll clean once every 2 weeks
- everyone will have their own area to clean, which they can clean whenever convenient for them during each two week block
- Cleaning chores on the eating room table, yet to be split up
- AILEEN will make a chart that we can each use to indicate when we’ve done our cleaning

MONEY
- We’ll split up IKEA and other stuff when everyone is present (truck, cleaning supplies, etc.)
- We’ll have a box for people to stuff receipts into whenever they buy something necessary for the house they want split. (Example: dish sponges run out, Luke goes and buys a pack.) We’ll figure those things out at the end of the month.
- There’s an issue with the rent that we need to figure out as a group
- We need to make sure everyone paid the right amt of security deposit, 1st months’ rent, etc.
- ISURU will make a receipts box

APT LAYOUT
- we’re going to try putting the metal shelves in the back hallway after the back hallway is cleared of boxes. If it looks too cramped back there, we’ll find another option
- We’ll try the bikes mounted on the wall in the front room
- We’ll put the microwave on the wall between the food shelves and water heater
- We’ll try Kaily’s suggested front room layout when the boxes are cleared out
- We talked about colors for the walls in the front room. Kaily’s going to get a pain sample so we can decide if we like the off-white she suggested. Ideally, we could get the walls painted pre-housewarming since we have two weeks.
- We’ll try Aileen’s foam board for messages and stuff in the front hallway
- AILEEN will get bike brackets
- LUKE will get a microwave bracket
- KAILY will get paint sample

CHEETAH CAT!
- litter box to be moved to a corner of the front room

MEALS
- We’ll aim to cook and share an early dinner (6pm) every Sunday
- AMIT will coordinate this Sunday’s dinner. Please let him know if you can help with cooking or if you won’t be there.

FORGOTTEN BUT IMPORTANT
- WHAT ARE WE DOING WHEN THE FORMER ROOMMATES COMES THIS WEEKEND? WHO WILL BE HERE?
- Mail slots - who wants to buy them? (Luke suggested a unit with lots of slots)
- Knives, knaves! - Please be gentle with the nice, sharp knives in the top drawer. Wash, dry, and replace them in the drawer soon after using them.
- Fridge lightbulb - volunteer to pick up a replacement
- Netflix - we have DVDs. We have no DVD player. Does someone want to buy one or should we buy one as a house? We could probably get something for ~$50
