The members of House 2.0 will be beginning their mass exodus to their respective homes for the holidays, starting late next week.
One room will be available from December 21 through January 7, and another room will be more flexible in terms of dates but will be roughly the same period.
While roommates will come and go, you will always have Oscar (pictured above) to take care of you (in exchange, you can take care of him).

Cleanup Crew Thanks
To Carolyn, & Jess Hall — you helped Raina and I clean what was probably the most frightening part of our Halloween party– the awful day-after mess.
The smells and sights seen while restoring the apartment to sanity will haunt me for a long time to come. I appreciate those who stepped up to help.

Notable Costumes
Not in any particular order. Some of these were very original, some were very elaborate, some were just awesome.
“Soccer Mom”
“Dr. Ballon”
“Quailman”
“V”
“Headless Horseman”
“Michael Jackson”
“Superman”
“Captain Planet”
“Salvador Dali”
The awesome horrible flesh wounds sported by my excellent NJ-PA friends
Notably Bad Costumes
“G-g-g-ghost” - the first person to fail our “Leather Jacket/Grease” costume stipulation. He was modified to be a terrible mummy and was a very good sport about it.
Two other perpetrators were wrapped in tin foil and made into 9/11 conspiracy theorists.
“Blue hair girl” - you got off lucky. Very lucky.
“People who showed up after midnight” - See previous.
I’m leaving out a few from both of these lists, but these are the highlights I remember at the moment.
Best Candy
This award goes to Allon AKA “Dr. Ballon”, for his contribution of Skittlebrau - Skittles & Killian’s.
Distance Awards
As far as I know, these are the people who traveled the furthest for this party:
1. Jessica Hall AKA “Aphrodite” - Boston, MA - 133 miles
2. Chris Greb & Leslie Forsyth AKA “Quailman & Catholic Schoolgirl” - Royersford, PA - 121 miles
3. Jess Victor AKA “Zombie MTA Worker” - Philadelphia, PA - 95 miles
Any other distance awards, let me know.
Thanks to everybody who came out and especially to everybody who helped– see you next time!

If you couldn’t make it, book donations are still welcome and needed– however, I’m afraid you missed out on a kickass dance party, a sultry lightstick dance by Raina, and some champagne, compliments of the always awesome Liz!

House 2.0 — Most Walkable location in the World!
3 Comments Published by sahadeva July 24th, 2007 in General.
WalkScore is a new website that’ll let you see how many cafes, parks, grocery stores, and other good stuff you have around your place — i.e. how “walkable” your location is. I put in the House 2.0 coordinates and was pleasantly surprised to find out that we’re officially the most walkable place in the universe, getting a score of 100 out of 100! I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised when we found out that H20 was also at the center of the Starbucks universe…
